The Love Your Clothes campaign in London is looking for a dynamic campaigns professional to manage a sustainable fashion and textiles behavior change project in the capital. The role is for a fixed term until May 2019 and is part of an EU-funded project (ECAP) targeted with delivering sustainable textiles practices across Europe.
We need someone who can engage with 16-24 year olds to help them not just buy more sustainably, but learn repair, upcycling and care skills to make their clothes last longer and reduce the environmental impacts of their fashion choices.
Main tasks include:
- Identifying and creating partnerships with stakeholders from across London’s fashion and textiles sector and creating a plan to raise awareness and improve skills amongst young Londoners;
- Delivering events, PR, social media and other communications activities;
- Working with London waste authorities to boost Love Your Clothes activities; and
- Evaluating the London campaign activity to report against targets.
You will have experience of delivering creative and behaviour change campaigns direct to consumers; an understanding and knowledge of the fashion and retail industry; an understanding and knowledge of the target audience group, and excellent project management capability.

Working hours: 60% fte (three days per week)
Location: London Waste and Recycling Board’s offices in Southwark SE1.
Salary range: £40,257 – £44,446 (pro rata)
