Technology Solutions to Circular Economy Challenges

In August 2017 we put a call out for innovators to revolutionise the way consumers buy, re-use, repair and recycle materials.

The challenge attracted a range of businesses and we selected four fantastic finalists, all offering a different solution to the challenge,  to present at a hackathon event at this years RWM Conference, competing for a prize of £7,000.

The hackathon showcased ways these entrepreneurs are using technology to improve resource efficiency and advance the circular economy. It was an opportunity to present their ideas to potential customers and business partners and share ideas with and inspire peers. There where also sector specialists on hand to provide advice and support to the entrepreneurs.
