The London Climate Innovation Challenge is now open! Start-ups, SMEs and innovators are invited to come along to a one-day hackathon in London on 6th December to pitch their ideas to a jury, with the aim of identifying solutions for a circular economy in two significant areas: food and the built environment. The two winning proposals will receive prizes of £20,000 to support the ongoing development of your solution.
LWARB and Climate-Kic have created this challenge, and we’re now inviting small businesses and other innovators in these two sectors to apply using our two-stage application process. The initial online call for proposals closes on 22nd November. The best entries from the online call will be invited to our one-day event on 6th December to develop their proposals alongside their peers and industry experts and pitch to a jury.
This is a great opportunity for participants to share ideas and ambitions with a group of peers with similar interests. It will provide an introduction to potential business partners and customers. Get involved to become part of a London cluster of start-ups, larger businesses, researchers, investors, public bodies and communities working together to achieve London’s goal for a circular economy.
