LWARB plays an important role in delivering the Mayor of London’s aspiration for the capital to be a low carbon circular city and is a partnership of the Mayor and London’s councils. Over the last five years, LWARB, through its Circular London programme, has become recognised as a world leader in circular economy thinking and practice. We are committed to increasing our impact, providing expert help and advice to London’s local authorities and developing commercial services for businesses and other cities in the UK and internationally.

The programme aims to accelerate the development of a circular economy in London – increasing recycling, reducing waste and thereby addressing the climate emergency by reducing consumption-based CO2e emissions.

We are seeking a professional project co-ordinator with great organisational skills to support in the management of our award-winning SME business support programme, Advance London.

The successful candidate will provide efficient and effective support to the Advance London team’s delivery activities, including planning, organising and co-ordinating projects, producing quarterly financial and outputs reports, liaising with stakeholders, supporting events and co-ordinating communications. You will be eager to learn, proactive, an independent worker; and you will enjoy setting up systems and managing processes while helping the wider team achieve their ambitious goals.

Advance London’s mission is to ‘make the circular economy everyone’s business’ by helping businesses in London launch new circular products or services, scale up and create ‘green’ jobs. Since it was created in 2017, the programme has supported more than 200 SMEs to redesign the way they do business, validate their approach and amplify their impact.
